The Omnico Corporation is a diverse property investment, development and project management group involved in commercial, industrial and residential projects based in Melbourne, Australia.
Dee Teal worked directly with Omnico to complete the new website re-design and contacted me to develop the custom theme.
The main purpose of the website is to showcase outstanding development projects that promote Omnico’s business. In order to help the client showcase these projects, I created a Developments custom post type with a customized back-end specifically tailored for managing the design’s content.
In addition, I created a custom settings page that controls the company’s contact information which displays throughout the website in the header, footer and contact page.
To help the user display this contact information anywhere on the website, I also created a custom widget that allows them to select what information they want to display. The widget outputs HTML with Schema.org markup for added SEO benefits.

I contracted Alexis to help me out with the development for the theme for a couple of client websites and I couldn’t be happier with the resulting work. Alexis’ approach to theme development is so client focused and intent on making the site as easy to manage as possible, that it has heavily influenced my own development going forward.
My only hesitation in recommending him is that once word gets out about the quality of his work, his excellent work ethic and his quick turnaround I’m afraid he’s going to be too busy.
